For the past couple of days, I've been heavily distracted and dismayed by current events. For the first half of the week, I closely followed the protests at Yale, Mizzou, and colleges across the nation, watching black and brown students stand up for their rights and humanity in the midst of death threats from people who don't want to recognize our voices, our suffering, and our humaneness.
